Logfile_dump Week 22/22

A day late but not a day wasted. Last week was my first week at my first infosec job. This clearly means that I’m now an expert in the field and am above reproach. For my first week, it was a lot of getting access to the tools and learning the interfaces and dashboards, which (so far!) has seemed like a piece of cake. I spent some time getting my work computer configured and email filters in place, and things are starting to feel like I actually work here.

No New Updates This Week

No new blog posts this week, and not one for last week either. Had some things come up that took precedence. Look for a new Logfile_dump next week though.

A New Script

As you may have guessed from my most recent Logfile dump (and if you went and looked at the commit messages for this blog) you may have noticed that things were going awry. I don’t know how it happened, but I’m assuming I screwed something up when I had the DNS problems (that I never figured out how that happened) which resulted in one week’s Logfile dump being just fine and then being broken after that point.
